This sucks. Oh Allah. :(
January 2012
jangan putus asa,
yang putus asa hanyalah yang tak percaya padaNya,
bangkitlah menjadi sebaik-baik pendosa,
yang berulang kali taubat padaNya,
tiadalah Dia mengira natijah daripadamu,
yang Dia inginkan hanyalah usaha,
usaha penuh kesungguhan,
dalam penyesalan yang ditolak oleh keimanan..” —Sebaik-baik Pendosa - Hilal Asyraf :’)
Then as for him who will be given his Record in his right hand will say: “Take, read my Record!
“Surely, I did believe that I shall meet my Account!”
So he shall be in a life, well-pleasing.
In a lofty Paradise,
The fruits in bunches whereof will be low and near at hand.
[They will be told], “Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you put forth in the days past.”
But as for he who is given his record in his left hand, he will say, “Oh, I wish I had not been given my record
And had not known what is my account.
I wish my death had been the decisive one.
My wealth has not availed me.
“My power and arguments (to defend myself) have gone from me!”
Allah will say, “Seize him and shackle him.
Then throw him in the blazing Fire.
“Then fasten him with a chain whereof the length is seventy cubits!”
Verily, He used not to believe in Allah, the Most Great,
Nor did he encourage the feeding of the poor.
So no friend has he here this Day,
Nor any food except filth from the washing of wounds,
None will eat except the Khati’un (sinners, disbelievers, polytheists, etc.).
Surat Al-Haqqah, The Reality. [69:19-37]
All praises to Allah, Lord of the universe. For the best gift in the world; to be born a Muslim in a wonderful family, with the best people around.
I love the time spent with my family. Most of the time, we would have discussions on religious issues, that helps me to understand Islam better day by day. Today’s topic with them was very broad and interesting. Very interesting, honestly. Because usually, I always hear about Sunni Shia Salafi etc etc. But today was about “hakikat” Muslims (I think that’s what they call it). How some human beings think and interpret Islam. I was shocked by their concepts, though.
But I’m not touching on that.
This post is dedicate to one of my sisters in faith. Though I have no idea if she’s reading this or not.
Anyway, let’s just continue.
So I had this interesting conversation. And a common issue; Hijab.
Some sisters want to wear hijab, only after they have “corrected” their akhlaq.
Well, my suggestion is, wear hijab. It’s not a choice. It’s a requirement as a Muslim. Wearing hijab does not make you “holy”. It makes you a Muslim. It’s a command from Allah.
Something to share, read Makarimul Akhlaq if you want to excel in good manners. Though it’s quite a lengthy dua’a, make time for it. If you can’t read it every day, read it once a week. InsyaAllah, it helps.
As our Holy Prophet (pbuh) said, ““The most complete in faith among the believers is he who has the best manners.“
And I apologize if I have bring up this matter inappropriately that might hurt some of your feelings. I sincerely apologize, as I have no intentions to hurt anyone. I’m just trying to spread the message, trying to help. Don’t learn the hard way for you might end up regretting. Trust me on this one.
Finally, I would like to sincerely thank my beloved friends who keep on reminding me on proper hijab and akhlaq. May Allah bless them. Ameen (:
